"The Kid Inside" is about taking that sense of awe and wonder we first feel as children, and carrying it forward through all the ups and downs of life. Bill Spera's show features highlights from his musical journey, including songs from the Great American Songbook, as well as the pop and Broadway worlds. Songs include those made famous by Frank Sinatra, Barbra Streisand, Judy Garland, the Monkees! as well as songs from Broadway shows like “Hamilton,” “Kinky Boots,” “On A Clear Day You Can See Forever,” and “Flora, The Red Menace.” Let it bring out the kid inside of you!
Bill Spera is a recent transplant to Cathedral City, having moved here full-time from Boston in October He performed in the New England area for over 35 years, including most recently as Grandfather in the Boston Pops’ production of “Ragtime: The Symphonic Concert” directed by Jason Danieley, and at the Deertrees Theatre in Harrison, Maine as Body in the original musical “Monsters.” He also just reprised his role as Santa with the Boston Pops for their Holiday Pops concerts in December (and got to sing with Keith Lockhart!). Other favorite past roles include Juan Peron in “Evita,” the Dentist in “Little Shop of Horrors,” Paul in “Company,” and the Sheriff in “Best Little Whorehouse in Texas.” Bill was a regularly featured cabaret performer in Club Café’s Napoleon Room in Boston for the past 14 years with his singing partner Katie Connor. In addition, Bill sang and solo’ed with the Boston Gay Men’s Chorus for 20+ years, including playing Ursula from “The Little Mermaid” for their 2022 “Disney Pride” concert. He studied voice with faculty from the University of Illinois and the New England Conservatory of Music and acting with Jeannie Lindheim in Boston and Scott Calcagno in Chicago. He dedicates this and all performances to his husband Joe.

The Sunday Cabaret Series is proud to bring you Angie Delaire in her encore performance of "Songs of the Movies!" This multimedia show is a tribute to hit songs from 80 years of classic movies that we all love. You won't want to miss this unforgettable musical and visual journey!
Angela Delaire delighted audiences in Canada for years before moving to Palm Springs in 1997 with her husband Ron and their three children. She was vocally trained at The Royal Conservatory of Music in Toronto and graduated from Canada’s N.A.I.T. in Radio and TV Arts. She grew up singing at church, conventions and fundraisers, and has performed as numerous musical theatre characters including Grizabella in Cats. Most recently, she performed with Earl Mitchell in Let's Sing About Love as part of the Sunday Cabaret Series at the Arthur Newman Theatre and in Razzle Dazzle at the Palm Springs Cultural Center. Angela was a finalist in the 2022 McCallum Open Call Talent Competition.

The Sunday Cabaret Series is proud to be in its 15th season at the Arthur Newman Theatre in Palm Desert. The series began in 2010 when the Joslyn Center invited the legendary Les Michaels to move his successful cabaret shows to their theater. Les produced hundreds of spectacular shows over the years before passing away much too soon in 2022. Today, Frankie Mamone is honored to continue Les' legacy of showcasing the most popular and talented performers of the Coachella Valley for your entertainment.
Frankie Mamone has been producing shows and entertaining audiences his entire life. He started as a child actor in Ohio and later performed in Los Angeles alongside great stars such as Eddie Albert, Kaye Ballard, Connie Stevens, Carol Channing -- the list goes on and on! Today, Frankie resides in the Coachella Valley where he is known as "The Italian Crooner," specializing in tribute shows to Jerry Vale, Tony Bennett and other beloved vocalists.
